The Company

My client is a market leader for supplying and manufacturing designer Giftware Kitchenware and Homeware products selling into supermarkets, major department stores, specialty retailers, multiples and many independent gift shops, garden centres and cook shops.

Due to rapid growth they now seek to add a highly motivated and professional individual for the position of National Account Manager to be based in Midlands.

The Role

As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of national retail accounts throughout the UK. You will report directly to the Sales Director.  You will be required to build, grow and manage your accounts. The ability to develop long term business relationships with household name retailers on a national level is a must. 

You’ll be an experienced account manager with a background in the Homewares (or similar) retail Industry particularly interested in individuals with experience in kitchen equipment and cookware.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will need a minimum of three years experience as a national account manager within this industry, and must have established relationships with the major household name retailers and supermarkets. You must have a proven track record and the ability to develop and grow current accounts. You must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with good interpersonal and organisational skills.
