Our client is an Australian iconic brand and they are looking for a National Field and Communications Manager to drive in-store execution levels. This would include distribution, shelf management, promotional compliance and display programs.   This exciting position offers loads of challenges and they are seeking someone who can drive growth.  Your clients will include major supermarket chains including Woolworths, Coles, IGA etc

This position reports to the National Business Manager and you will have close working relationships with the Communications Manager, Account Management Team, Marketing Team, Sales Director, Field Sales Team, Business Managers, Supervisors, Area Reps and Merchandisers.

Key Accountabilities for this role include:

  • Maximising our clients profile with their clients
  • Having a monthly call cycle in place
  • Attend weekly sales meeting
  • Attend state meetings
  • Providing feedback to managers and senior team
  • Chain communication regarding promotions, fixture specials, distribution, POS, new lines, stock rotation, deleted lines and planograms.
  • Track and communicate in-store execution performance for major initiatives (New Lines, Planogram completion, Distribution Drives, Promo activity) versus agreed SLA
  • Ensure all point of sale materials are delivered to agreed specifications by required time-frame
  • Manage field execution costs (Including POS, Planograms)
  • Complete monthly reports on sales activities, pricing intelligence, competitor activity, industry and retailer intelligence
  • Making formal recommendation and feedback to Sales Team

The successful applicant will have:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships influence
  • Very strong communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Developed selling skills
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Computer literacy, Lotus Notes, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Extensive field sales operations experience (as both a Rep Field Manager)
  • Field level understanding of both Chain Independent markets (Australia)
  • Proven ability to lead influence sales teams (3rd party management)
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work autonomously remotely.
  • Note: This role requires extensive interstate regional travel.
  • Account Management selling experience
  • Degree qualified with focus on Business/Marketing (Preferred - Not essential)
