Natural Resources Project Finance Advisory
The Natural Resources Advisory (NRA) team is focused on providing project finance advisory services to international and local investors developing long term capital intensive projects in the Oil Gas and Metals Mining sectors.
The team is currently busy executing advisory mandates in Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Hungary and The Netherlands for projects including gas transportation pipelines, oil or gas based petrochemical processing plants and oil storage terminals. The NRA team is part of the Structured Finance Natural Resources sector team (SF NR) of the Bank, that also provides debt funding to investors/contractors in the oil gas, offshore and metals mining sectors under structured and project finance structures. SF NR is one of the key strategic sectors of the Bank.
The role will include the following tasks, typically under the supervision of an experienced project finance team leader:
+ Building and running detailed cash flow models;
+ Assisting in the selection of lenders’ independent consultants, reviewing and commenting on lenders’ consultants’ due diligence reports and managing interfaces between lenders’ independent consultants and clients’ technical, commercial and financial teams;
+ Assisting in preparation of Preliminary Information Memorandum and other documentation for prospective lenders;
+ Assisting in preparation of presentations and reports for clients’ management;
+ Assisting in preparation of pitch material in support of team bidding for new advisory mandates;
+ Assisting in other tasks required to ensure a timely completion of advisory mandates.
The candidate:
- The successful candidate will have worked in a bank or accounting firm, preferably in a project finance team, for the majority of the analyst period.
- The successful candidate will have a strong interest in the natural resources sector.
- The successful candidate will be expected to travel extensively to countries in the CEE and CIS regions as well as to a number of Western European countries.
- Other requirements: fluent in English (strong writing skills are a must) and possibly in another European language, university degree and ability to work in an international environment.
