Job Description: Time Warner Cable has recently acquired Insight Communications and we are looking for great people to join our team! General Summary Conduct scheduled sales appointments to promote and sell broadband products, including digital cable and high speed internet, to new or existing residential customers. Primary Responsibilities - Acquire new and upgrade current subscribers by appointment or referral solicitation in assigned territory - Prepare and execute subscriber sales application, arranging for installation date, collecting and remitting revenues as prescribed - Systematically review assigned territory to insure dwelling units are contacted on a prescribed, periodic basis - Communicate specific market situations, offers and marketing/sales and promotional information to residents to ensure maximum sales performance - Manage and prioritize schedule to consistently meet or exceed department sales standards - Maintain legible and accurate record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities - Contact subscribers regarding pending disconnects, change of service or follow-up on installations - Demonstrate expanded knowledge and competency by continually upgrading and improving sales presentation, knowledge of projects, services and rates - Participate in department and all-employee meetings and training opportunities as required - Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates Note: Direct Sales Representatives are required to supply their own vehicle. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Capability to organize, plan and execute sales strategy - Ability to communicate with a diverse external and internal cliental base - Strong verbal, written interpersonal and listening skills - Proficient in multi-tasking, working under pressure and meeting deadlines - Knowledgeable of current and upcoming technical developments in the industry Education and Experience - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-3 years sales experience preferred - Good driving record and valid drivers license REQUIRED - Bi-lingual background preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment - Ability to push, pull, bend, lift, crawl, stoop, stand, squat, kneel and walk for extended periods of time - Work outside throughout the year in a variety of weather conditions, including temperature extremes - Ability to work evenings and Saturdays FCC Unit_TWC: 3267 - Lexington Controlling Establishment ID: 00853 - Lexington Palumbo Nearest Major Market: Lexington Job Segments: Bilingual, Direct Sales, Operations, Outside Sales, Sales, Supply
