Cloud Street are looking to recruit .NET developers with strong SQL skills to join their growing team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated developer with good analytical skills who thrives on challenging projects. Cloud Street design and build custom database applications and business management systems for clients across the UK. With modern offices in Stirling and the latest development tools (including Red Gate SQL, Telerik controls and MSDN), we are small team who work hard, have fun, and are ambitious for the future.
The role will involve:
- Designing user interfaces using WinForms or ASP.NET
- Using VB.NET and object-oriented coding skills to create robust software
- Building SQL Server databases and complex stored procedures
- Using and developing our in-house coding standards and code-library elements
- Being a committed and enthusiastic member of a small project team, open to both learning new skills and sharing your skills with others
You MUST have the following skills:
- Excellent .NET development skills – VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC or WinForms
- Strong SQL Server development experience with excellent T-SQL skills
- Ability to translate functional user requirements in to technical requirements/code
The following skills and experience would be desirable (not essential)
- WPF, WCF, LINQ, HTML, CSS
- SQL/Windows Azure
- Telerik controls reporting
