We are currently seeking an experienced .NET application developer to join the application development team who will design, develop, test and implement .NET application solutions focusing on new and existing components for our TOAST ( TouchTone Sales and Operations) application. The Application Developer will work closely with other developers on the team and support staff to deliver new product releases, enhancements and bug fixes. Essential job functions will include: user interface development (GUI), custom application development and maintenance for existing releases, technology research for new and emerging applications and support system, as well as special projects.
A successful candidate will have three or more years experience in software engineering and development with two or more years of Microsoft .NET application development with Visual Studio. In depth knowledge in ASP.NET, VB Script, and .NET framework required. Must be able to produce high quality code-based deliverables. Knowledge of Team Foundation Server and Telecom a plus. Experience working in all areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is highly preferred.
The Application Developer will be required to understand the architecture and functionality of existing applications and database structures (MS SQL Server 2000/2005). The ability to conceptualize designs and code with minimal supervision and specifications is essential. Experience with Windows Services and the ability to write complex stored procedures and sql queries, along with other MS SQL Server 2000/2005 development skills is also highly preferred.
Knowledge of sound business practices and a proven track record of exceeding user expectations and anticipating their needs are also required. Must be motivated with a focus on team performance and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (MIS/CS) (preferred)
