.NET/C## Analyst Developer – Compliance, Legal & Regulatory/ EMIR
You will be required to ensure that project requirements and deadlines are met and that the projects transitions into production happens with minimal impact, whilst also working with the support teams to ensure that any required handover is given.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working on projects inside the Compliance space. This will involve:
- Ensuring all business requirements are complete and understood before development takes place.
- Analysing the existing code base to get a good understanding of how the whole application is built.
- Developing the systems further to meet the changing requirements of the business
- Creating system documentation for handover to support team
- Develop automated build and test packs to minimise manual work.
This system upgrade is to enable data to move downstream and allow the data to be more exposed in order to meet the regulatory requirements of EMIR. Therefore this system will need to be robust and will involve some real time messaging and full continuous integration and regression testing
Required experience:
- Strong Investment Banking experience
- Strong C#/ .NET development skills (ideally .Net 4)
- Working in Agile methodology
- SQL Server
- Ideally have worked on Real-time systems
- Good understanding of automated testing and deployment using Continuous Integration products e.g. Fitnesse
- Ideally have some understanding of EMIR/ Compliance sytems although not essential
