Housing Services Manager / Community Engagement Manager / Social Housing

£45,906 plus £3000 car allowance

35 hours per week

 

Our client is a charitable housing association providing homes, care and support across Yorkshire. Their core purpose is to provide good quality affordable homes to rent.

 

As a member of the Housing Services Management Team you will lead the Neighbourhood Service operations in Sheffield, Huddersfield, Bradford and Leeds, adopting a customer focused approach in the delivery of a wide range of services in local neighbourhoods. You will be the lead officer for community engagement and champion the achievement of the Neighbourhood Promise. You will contribute to the achievement of the corporate plan, take responsibility for driving continuous improvement by making processes and systems more efficient and constantly raising standards. You will set and monitor annual budgets and work effectively with the Property Services team to deliver an effective and efficient repairs and maintenance service.

 

The successful candidate will be an experienced and inspirational leader who can motivate and develop a team through times of change and transition. You will be an innovator with a passion for working with customers to improve services and deliver value for money. You will be a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Housing or working to achieve it and have extensive knowledge of Housing Management. Finally, you must have access to a car and a full clean driving licence.

 

In accordance with our client’s policy the successful applicant will require an enhanced CRB check.

Please note our client’s corporate centre will be relocating to Leeds in the summer of 2012 which will become the normal place of work for this post.
