Our client is a major supplier of industrial utilities to large international companies in key manufacturing sectors including chemicals and bio fuels.
They have a new vacancy for a High Voltage Maintenance Technician within their busy Asset Management operation.
Experienced in High Voltage electrical distribution (up to 66,000 volts), you will be time served and qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Previous experience in power generation with operational understanding and experience of high voltage systems and equipment is required. Your expertise will include the ability to read and understand electrical drawings and able to test and understand basic electrical protection relays and schemes. You will be authorised to accept work control permits and high voltage permit to work cards.
You will have basic IT skills and able to work to strict timescales. Able to work well from your own initiative as well as part of a team, you will have a high concern for Health Safety and Environment and hold a valid UK drivers licence.
This is a full-time, permanent role working the equivalent of 42½ hours per week.
