New Accounts Assistant
Main Duties -
New Accounts:
- Open new accounts on a daily basis where new accounts applied for by external clients;
- Ensure full security and ID checks are completed in line with procedure, using Worldcheck and other ID tools as required;
- Liaise with the other departments regarding any account queries;
- Provide reports as required regarding new account status;
- Update internal systems accordingly;
- Liaise with Compliance regarding any account queries, ID inconsistencies or any suspected fraudulent activity;
- Be fully aware and up to date with FCA regulations regarding account opening and AML requirements;
- Advise the business of county blacklists for accounts and communicate any extra ID checks required for certain countries;
Support:
- Provide excellent client services to retail and institutional clients
- Handling client enquiries through chat, telephone, email and Salesforce, in a timely and professional manner
Marketing:
Participate in project work such as website development, translations, marketing campaigns, forum monitoring and analysis, webinars
Essential skills -
- Fluent Arabic speaker with excellent written skills
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail required
- Good knowledge of the FX, CFDs and Spread betting market, and the financial market in general
- Must be comfortable with working with new technologies
- Highly organised and flexible in approach to work
- Customer service oriented and able to demonstrate strong team-working skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Flexible with working a shift rota and night shifts (as and when required)
Desirable skills -
- Fluent French speaker
- Experience of working in the financial services sector, FX and CFD brokerage
- Experience using Salesforce
- Marketing experience
Qualification required -
- Undergraduate degree in finance or a finance related discipline
