New Business Data Sales
The role is central to shaping the EU strategy for revenue growth, and will be integral in the strategy internally and ensuring its execution occurs with target clients. The ideal candidate will have come from a similar data sales background and will have a goal-oriented working style.
Responsibilities
- Communication to many internal stakeholders – Coverage, Sr. Management, Relationship, Product, Other Verticals – will be required for success
- Create a suite of customised pitches and other collateral material
- Proactively develop sales pipeline for both up selling into existing clients and developing new prospects
- Relationship Management with both internal and external customers
- Create a sales strategy roadmap for the European Fixed Income Relationship Management Team
- Classify opportunities to increase the footprint of product throughout clients
- Proactively deal with issues and potential concerns in the relationship and work to rectify these
Requirements
- Strong educational background
- Proven track record in data sales, a year on year account of targets will be requested with each application
- Proven experience in proactively managing ‘C’ level client relationships in Capital Markets
- Proven experience in achieving strategic results in a client facing role
- Excellent time management, presentation skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to think and operate strategically in developing accounts
- Internal and external communication essential
- Ability to articulate complex ideas into meaningful and focused pitches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability motivate fellow team members by strong work ethic
- Additional European language beneficial
- Knowledge of Strategic Sales processes are beneficial, i.e. Miller Heiman or SPIN
- Ability to travel – approximately 20%
