New business/Account manager

Location: Leeds, Keighley, Wakefield, Halifax, Bradford
Salary: £18,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Account Manager, with proven sales success, to join their IT hardware division.

The company supplies a wide range of IT based products, including hardware, software, consumables, and IT services. Their current clients are from a wide range of sectors, including SMEs, corporations and governmental organisations.

You will be responsible for generating new business, whilst managing existing accounts. This is a sales based role, and will involve selecting the most suitable products and solutions to meet the client's business needs, and ensuring that they receive a high standard of service and support.

Your role will involve:
* Proactively seeking and closing new customer accounts, using the leads provided
* Management of existing accounts to maximise growth
* Performing to target-based expectations on a daily basis
* Proactively using market, customer and product awareness to increase profitability
* Building and developing long lasting relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful sales within IT or related sectors, and will have a genuine passion for business development.
