New Products Approval Specialist recruitment
My client a leading private banking group are currently recruiting for a Product Approval Specialist to focus both on the EMEA and Americas regions.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience in a Product control or Product Development role with exposure to operational risk management and an understanding of risk control framework.
Key responsibilities:
-Manage the new products approval process, provide governance around the introduction of new products
-Oversight and assessment of risk issues associated with new products
-Develop and continuously improve the new business approval process
-Chair relevant governance related to new product approval process
-Ensuring approval conditions and actions are checked and met
A key part of this role will entail forging strong stakeholder relationships at all levels throughout a wide range of divisions i.e. Legal, IT, Finance, Risk. To be successful in this role you will need to be a strong influencer and should ideally have experience of working on or managing projects from within a risk environment.
This role will involve travel outside of the UK and will open doors for the right candidate to work internationally.
Skills-
-Wealth management product control or product development background- ideally experienced in the process of introducing new products.
-Strong stakeholder management experience
-Operational risk management understanding
