The company is currently seeking an experienced sales leader that can focus on accelerating the company’s sales efforts in large accounts, including at the state, federal, and international government levels.  This is an opportunity to put your well-honed sales skills to work in an environment filled with passionate people and a truly unique business. This candidate will be required to step in and manage an existing pipeline of opportunities as well as build a strategy for new business.
 
The New Sales Account Manager is a senior sales position that will be responsible for revenue development for the company’s three main SaaS-based products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background and a proven track record of selling into large organizations, including government and large non-profit groups.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop plans for selling the company’s SaaS products into government and other large organizations both domestically and internationally. 

·         Develop and execute on strategies for prioritizing opportunities and creating plans to reach new markets.

·         Field incoming leads and manage the sales process.

·         Ability to manage a sales quota and target account objectives.

·         Create a strategy for managing major accounts, including state and federal contracts.

·         Work closely with Client Services to coordinate post-sale handoff and ensure a smooth transition to integration and customer on-boarding.

·         Work closely with Marketing on lead generation activities and manage active lead pipeline reporting.

·         Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and competitors and report back to the executive team.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree required.

·         Minimum five years experience in new business development/account management.

·         Experience with a solutions/consultative selling methodology.

·         Experience and successful track record in government sales is a requirement.

·         International experience is helpful.

·         Prior track record of selling SaaS-based services is a strong positive.

·         Excellent presentation skills.

·         Strong customer communications skills, written, oral and face-to-face.

·         Ability to navigate/manage technical, product and business issues within an account.

·         Previous experience in being able to price products or services based on multiple factors.

·         Aptitude and experience working with major contracts and agreements desirable.

·         Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
