New York – Hedge Fund Role – Long/Short Equity Analyst
A large global asset management firm are currently looking to add a buy side equity analyst to their Pan-US portfolio management team in London.
You will be responsible for stock picking across the Domestic (UK) Markets with a focus on around 3-4 specific sectors.
Responsibilities will include:-
- Assigned responsibility for stock picking across 3-4 key domestic sectors.
- Material contribution to fund managers’ performance by selecting the most appropriate stocks
- Idea generation and challenging fund managers’ positions
- Manage fund managers and high net worth portfolios for fund specific needs – US, North American and Global
- Urgent delivery on decisions to long or short investment holdings with crucial turnaround efficiency
- Fundamental analysis going into deep-value assessments of stocks from the bottom-up
In order to apply you must be CFA qualified or working towards Level 3 CFA.
Only applicants with buy side experience will be considered at this stage.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading player in the Hedge Fund space. You will be taking the position of a team member that has recently moved into portfolio management and will be trained and mentored to do the same.
The team currently consist of individuals from high calibre institutions and the organisation very rarely lose team members.
