Senior Reconciliation Assoc (Job Number: 1311086)
Description
The position will be responsible for the timely and accurate settlement of trades processed on behalf of trust clients. In addition, the position will be responsible for communicating with several external parties such as brokers and other banks, resolving discrepancies between the depository and/or fund company and internal trade information, ensuring the efficient handling of securities and account transactions within tight deadlines and correctly reflecting transaction activity on the Custody Management System. The incumbent is expected to work as a team member to ensure all trades are processed correctly and that each exception is accounted for. The incumbent will be responsible for complying with Bank policies and procedures as well as Mellon Trust policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: High school diploma; High School/GED preferred. Minimum 0-2 years of experience; 2 years of experience preferred.The incumbent must have good organizational skills a well as strong communication skills. The incumbent must also be able to adhere to strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
