Newly Qual ACA Accountant (Energy Industry)
Our client, one of the most highly respected international energy businesses are currently seeking a newly qualified accountant to join their finance team in London.
This rare opportunity to join an established team would be ideally suited to a practice trained accountant looking to take their first steps into industry.
You will be given excellent exposure across the business and regular involvement in ad hoc project work.
Responsibilities will include:
§ Preparation of Financial accounts
§ Preparation of management accounts
§ Supervising junior team members
§ Supporting strategic growth and business alignment with company wide strategies
§ Monthly quarterly reporting
§ Review and preparation of workings for balance sheet accounts
§ Preparation and analytical review of the monthly Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss
§ Setting up and running new and existing joint venture structures
§ Assistance in preparation and review of Joint Venture accounts
Required experience:
§ Qualified Accountant ACA / CA / ACCA
§ Degree educated
§ Excellent communication skills
§ Knowledge of UK GAAP IFRS
