Northern China Team Head, VP, Treasury Sales (FI Group) recruitment

Responsibilities

• Achieve/Exceed Revenue Plan for GTM products franchise in the allocated region with FI/Govt

• Maintain strong relationships with identified clients

• Develop new clients to increase source of revenue

• Effectively cross sell other products/Bank’s global capabilities

• Effectively manage the assigned portfolio through effective call preparation, reporting and by maintaining updated plans for key clients

• Responsible for maintaining effective sales contact with the branch supervisors and staff that are responsible for allocating these payments to overseas correspondent banks

• Shall be responsible for assisting in new relationship marketing efforts of the group in the region

• Responsible for meeting a specified annual revenue objective.

• Responsible for identifying potential solutions to customer needs as requested/identified

• Act as an internal champion maintaining good client relationships and identify business opportunities through effective interaction with internal business partners

• Effectively co-ordinate with CDS for providing excellent services to the customers

• Efficient leveraging of competition (esp. on pricing etc) to clinch business

• Deep knowledge of the GTS related products offered by the Bank

• Effective client relationship management

• Regular interaction with CDP and Client Management group to benefit a ‘cross-sell’ opportunity

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related disciplines.

• Minimum 6 years of experience with major financial institutions cash management or a multinational bank’s correspondent banking business in trade and payments coupled with strong sales function capabilities with focus on selling to FI clients. Knowledge of commercial banking, including credit as well as trade, foreign exchange, cash management and short-term investments.

• Excellent knowledge of payments business including US dollar clearing, euro clearing, CLS and Trade – especially L/C negotiation and discounting, export bills collection, L/C reimbursements etc.

• Strong product knowledge and advisory skills

• Strong leadership skills – actions/ideas to help drive processes as well as motivate sales team

• Presentation and communication skills of high standards

• Lead through example – role model for teamwork, communication and collaboration

• Strong PC skills including Excel, Word and Power Point. Willing to travel extensively
