About the Job
Nurses for a 26 year old female graduate student at UW. She requires 24-hour in home nursing care due to her diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy. We are looking for enthusiastic motivated RNs and LPNs to provide high quality care both in her home and while she is out of the home for classes, meetings, doctors appointments and social events. Responsibilities include respiratory treatments, assessments, transferring, hygiene needs, feeding, operating her power attendant driven wheelchair, and other tasks as stated on the patient's plan of care or as requested by the patient. Shifts are 12 hours starting at 7am and 7pm.
