Nurse Prescriber- Band 7
Hays Healthcare is currently looking for a female Nurse Independent Prescriber to work on an ongoing basis every Thursday 12-8pm and Friday 9 – 5 pm. You must have experience of prescribing in a drug service.
As a Nurse Prescriber you will assess, initiate and review care for drug and alcohol users in a variety of setting; you will lead independent prescribing clinics for drug and alcohol users with complex needs in the community and in an inpatient unit and provide general health and mental health assessments followed by appropriate advice, referral or treatment as required.
You will have significant experience working with drug and alcohol users with complex needs and an ability to create and manage prescriptions including those for controlled drugs
