Payments /Treasury Officer
An expanding international Bank based in the heart of the City are keen to hire a payment specialist with a minimum of 18 months experience
You will be responsible for the day to day input and authorisation of payment transactions and treasury deals as well as Static Data maintenance.
Also providing back up for the creation of intraday cash liquidity positions with Treasury.
The role is responsible for processing of transactions in line with working procedures, internal controls and checklists to limit Operational Risk.
Principle Accountabilities:
Deadline driven payment processing for GBP and EUR transactions
Intraday view of the processing queues in Flexcube and Swift Alliance gateway to ensure transactions are processed and released within counterparty / agent deadlines
To ensure transactions are either released or referred to Compliance
Logging of the incoming swift messages and distribution of messages to the relevant departments.
Key Competencies:
Enthusiastic and competent individual.
Good communications skills verbal and written.
Background in Settlements and Operations, particular focus on payment processing knowledge.
Timely and accurate processing, keyboard skills.
