NYC AGENCY BROKER LOOKING FOR A CLIENT SERVICE ANALYST

Client Services Analyst, Analytical Products Research (APR)

The primary role will be supporting and consulting clients on the use of transaction cost tools. This role includes consulting projects for the firm's clients, visiting clients, helping product management define requirements and answering the client services hotline number. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative approach/background and should have a managerial understanding of statistical methods used when analyzing market data. This position requires someone who can think on his or her feet and learn new subject matter quickly.  The successful candidate has past experience with transaction cost analysis or in finance and should be highly motivated and driven to proactively engage clients and understand their needs.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting existing clients in their use of the firm's pre- and post-trade analytic services
- Generating ad-hoc analysis for internal and external users
- Proactively calling existing clients and updating them on recent innovations in the products
- Supporting APR Sales and ITG Sales and Trading in their clients visits
- Create custom product presentations based on client research requests

Skills/Qualifications:
- 2+ years practical in the financial industry, preferably in transaction cost analysis
- Good knowledge of market micro structure and market data.
- Proficient in SQL and VBA * a plus
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly self-disciplined, detail and results oriented
