An experienced object oriented PHP coding professional required to join innovative and dynamic courier comparison site, ANYVAN.

ANYVAN

is a courier and delivery service that provides a unique 'Delivery Auction Site’. ANYVAN gives customers access to a pool of reputable Transport Providers so they can select the courier or delivery service most suited to their needs.This free to use service comes with lots of cost and time saving benefits forboth the customer and transport provider. Due to extreme growth, ANYVAN is recruiting for an Object Oriented PHP Web Developer to further develop the site.


Reporting to the Head of Technical Development, the Object Oriented PHP Web Developer will be a key member of the web development team. With a focus on building new features for the ANYVAN website, the Object Oriented PHP Web Developer will also make decisions whilst devising new features for constant website improvement. The Object Oriented PHP Web Developer will develop efficient PHPcode using ANYVAN’s coding guidelines. They will also design normalised database tables and be able to create clean, standards compliant HTML (45)and CSS from a PSD whilst also developing efficient cross browser dynamic pages using jQuery and Javascript.


The ideal candidate will have obtained significant experience developing objectoriented PHP code and be knowledgeable of MVC principles. It would bebeneficial for the candidate to have experience of:


The successful candidate will have proven examples of a 1000+ daily visitor website and be happy to sit a web proficiency test prior to employment.
