Occupational Health Nurse
I have the perfect opportunity for an RGN, Occupational Health Nurse Advisor, to work 37.5 hours per week for a highly desirable public sector client in Liverpool. This contract position is available for a minimum of 3 months and the client has proposed a possible temporary placement to permanent contract for the right candidate.
The roles purpose is to provide a professional proactive and comprehensive Occupational Health Service to management and staff on all matters relating to the health, safety and well-being of all our clients employees, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements and correct policy.
The ideal candidate will be expected to work autonomously and proactively but will ultimately report directly to the Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor. You will be allocated a nominal base but this role also involves travelling and working at various different locations within the Merseyside area.
It is essential that you have the following skills/qualifications / experience:
• Registered General Nurse with post registration in an occupational health setting.
• It is essential that the post holder is a Registered General Nurse and has achieved a qualification in Occupational Health or is studying for Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working within the field of Occupational Health to enable the post holder to carry out the role effectively.
• The post holder will have proven experience and have excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Knowledge of key health and safety legislation, particularly where this applies to health care.
• Must be a car driver with a valid driver license
