Occupational Health Nurse
I have an exciting role available for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to work in West Yorkshire.
As Occupational Health Nurse you will work as part of a team as well as undertaking routine occupational health activities without direct supervision following a period of induction and participate in the delivery of the health and well-being agenda.
The following is essential for this role:
· Registered General Nurse Qualification
· Post basic education and training equivalent to university diploma
· Evidence of continuing professional development and evidence of study and/or research at Level 5
· Current RN Registration with NMC
· Understanding of the role of occupational health within the NHS
· Works under guidance of established protocols and procedures at operational level
· Computer skills and understanding
· Basic knowledge of infection control guidelines
· Basic knowledge of current health and safety legislation relevant to the National Health Service
· 2 years post registration experience in a general healthcare setting
· Experience of quality and audit initiatives
