About the Job
Responsible for the design, quotation, and product release of agricultural components to major OEM's. Work directly with OEM engineers on the engineering maintenance of existing products and the release of new product. Performs product estimating/costing for the development of product quotations and management of product pricing and profit margin. Responsible for product manufacturability (providing feedback on OEM designs), establishing manufacturing routings and standards as required. Responsible for engineering specifications, design, prototype coordination, and production implementation (obtaining required tooling and fixtures). Coordinate manufacturing, purchasing and supplier involvement on product releases. Obtain knowledge of the product markets and applications in an effort to identify new product opportunities. BS in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering required. SolidWorks or similar solid modeling experience required. Minimum of 5-7 years manufacturing experience preferred, previous metal favrications cost estimating a plus. Salary commensurate with experience.
