Apantac is a startup that was formed in 2009.  Our main customers are broadcast television stations and professional AV integrators.  We are looking for an office administrator that can grow with business.  Our local customers are KOIN, KOPB, KGW, KATU and many more.  In 2011, we shipped equipment to 33 different countries in the world.

Job Description 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

·      Receptionist – answering and screening calls

·      Filing and general organization

·      Manage daily administrative operations including establishing work priorities; assist in resolving problems related to the day-to-day operations of the office

·      Entry of incoming orders

·      Prepare  daily shipments, which includes generating packing lists, commercial invoices for domestic and international shipments

 

Requirement

 

·      High school diploma or GED required; Associates strongly preferred.

·      2 years or greater directly related expertise in administration or similar experience

·      2 + years of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel

·      Good understanding of shipping and receiving

·      Knowledge of UPS, FedEX, DHL shipping process.  International shipping knowledge is helpful

·      Knowledge of Quickbooks Enterprise software a plus

·      Basic knowledge of accounting procedures

·      Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

·      Ability to analyze and solve problems both reactively and proactively

·      Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and complete them successful and accurately

·      Typing minimum of 45 WPM
