Area Overview:

The Technology Service Group's Talent Management and Administration Function ("TMA") provides leadership and support to TSG leaders and staff to help them operate as a high-performing team. We focus on programs and practices to ensure effective talent management, foster staff engagement and high morale, and advance a culture of innovation, collaboration, service excellence, and continuous learning and development.

TMA also provides communications to TSG staff through multiple channels and communications about technology services to TSG's customers across the Bank; leads Group business strategy and planning activities; and provides Group-wide administrative support and event management

Business Case:

Need for an individual to support a range of talent management initiatives, manage the Admin Support Service and supervise the team of Administrative professionals

Job Description:

§ Supervise the team of 10 Administrative Professionals who support the TSG leaders and their staff across four locations. Provide day-to-day oversight of the team to ensure excellent support; shape priorities and plans, and monitor the staff's progress; introduce administrative process improvements and efficiencies; and advance team members' professional development.

§ Organize and coordinate events, including quarterly TSG All People meetings, selected business meetings, and recognition events. Coordinate with the TSG event sponsor and Corporate Group's Event Management staff; prepare meeting documentation as requested.

§ Provide logistical and administrative support to selected talent management activities, including the deliberations of TSG's Promotion Review Committee.

§ Participate in other Function projects as requested (e.g. Climate Survey follow-up; preparation of management presentations); engage with managers and staff members from across TSG as necessary.

§ Draft administrative policies and procedures, and ensure their effective and efficient implementation.

§ Provide data, reports and analyses to support talent management programs, collaborating with TSG's Governance team or HR, as needed.

§ Track and report on progress of projects/initiatives and on support service quality.

Participate in other activities to support the TSG leadership team as requested.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

§ 3 - 5 years supervisory or service management experience;

§ Demonstrated ability to supervise the work of others and to get things done through others, while accomplishing independent work;

§ Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills;

§ Good knowledge of the Bank's support entities;

§ Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information and put it in relevant context, develop and evaluate alternative courses of action, and design practical solutions;

§ Business process design experience helpful;

§ Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, to work across organizational boundaries to achieve shared goals, and to leverage the expertise and information of others;

§ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas in a clear, well-organized and analytically sound manner;

§ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision;

§ Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment

§ Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver for our TSG clients;
