Job Description

The Transfer Agency Manager is responsible for monitoring the daily operational functions performed by the TA team whilst managing staffing requirements and reviewing associated statistical figures.

-Sets clear targets and standards for performance and behaviours and ensures processes are in place to support individuals to achieve them. Influences positive teamwork at all levels in the organisation. Creates and promotes inter-team involvement and cooperation to achieve the business goals

-Clearly articulates rationale for changes in FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) and budget requirements. Sets and clearly communicates expected standards of performance for team/project/tasks

-Creates an environment where focus on quality is an intrinsic part of every process and the way in which everyone works. Sets the highest standards of quality for self and inspires others. Seeks out best practice and acts as an advocate for the recognition and reward of excellence.

-Creates a customer-focused environment influencing across own and other divisions

-Actively encourages and practises clear, open and direct communication. Demonstrates strategies for influencing others

 The role requires daily liaison with various operational units within the company as well as with our business Partners, sister companies and regular contacts with clients and auditors.

The role is essential for ensuring the successful completion of IFDSL Registration unit objectives.

Qualifications

-Excellent communication skills, fluent in English written and oral. Any other language skills especially German, Spanish or Italian would be considered as an advantage

-5 years managements of minimum 5 persons (manage staffing requirements and review associated statistical figures relating to volumes)

-Ability to work with pressure while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards, analytical and process thinking skills

-The person should demonstrate a high degree of self-reliance and self?motivation and should be able to take initiatives for problem resolution

-Minimum 4/5 years’ experience in banking operation (or financial services industry) preferably in Registration or risk and compliance function

-Specific knowledge about shareholder administration and/ or AML / KYC would represent a strong asset for this position

-Advanced computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook…)

University degree in accounting, banking, finance, business administration, audit, legal or equivalent professional qualification
