Officer – Service & Operations, Personal Tax Service recruitment
In this role you will provide, as part of a team, an efficient and professional tax service to personal customers of varying types and complexities. Experience in this area is desired but not a prerequisite. Study support will be provided to individuals who demonstrate a willingness to study for professional tax exams (Association of Tax Technicians).
To succeed, you will need to demonstrate:
- An appropriate level of technical knowledge of income tax and capital gains tax issues, in line with the extent of tax experience, and/or exhibiting a willingness to study.
- General financial knowledge – able to understand how the latest financial and economic news will affect individual client’s situations.
- Personal taxation knowledge – able to apply personal tax knowledge to guide clients.
- Knowledge of the tax implications of investments – an understanding of how income tax affects straightforward investments
