Job Description

You will be responsible for leading and developing functional health and safety programs across Australia. In addition, key responsibilities include:

  • Driving a safety culture for high level performance, reflected in consistent and appropriate safety behaviours.
  • Actively providing expert advice on key proactive risk management initiatives to leaders across the business.
  • Continuously improving existing safety frameworks across all levels of the business.
  • Managing safety compliance on site for subcontractors and clients.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you will be a seasoned OHS/EHS professional with a strong background ideally within a site based manufacturing or heavy industry environment. You will have a proven leadership track record, and the ability to support and assist line managers with resolving safety issues across the company.

You will also be able to work in an autonomous environment, creating strong links between yourself and the senior leadership team. Tertiary qualified in OHS/EHS or a related discipline, and have an advanced understanding of all applicable OHS and Workers Compensation legislation, and regulations are a must.
