Oil & Gas Project Manager – Freight, Shipping, Logistics, Energy, Forwarder, Singapore office recruitment

Job Description Responsibilities:

Ø A significant part of the role will be within a leadership function; ensuring the smooth running and effectiveness of the business as a whole

Ø Leading the Oil Gas Projects team will be the main and most vital task within this role

Ø Ensuring profitability within the team; in relation to growth and improved relationships with customers

Ø To motivate, lead and train other professionals within the team

Ø Ensuring expenses are kept in order

Ø Ensure success of the team as a whole

Ø Ensure cash management is adequately undertaken and supervised

Ø Meetings and conferences with other individuals within the oil and gas projects sector; to ensure an exceptional high level of business development is upheld

PRINCIPAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre Requisites:

Ø It is essential to be experienced within the handling of oil and gas related cargo, be it within the upstream, midstream or downstream sector

Ø It is vital to have experience within projects, be it within manufacturing, refineries, infrastructure, refining or other closely related sectors

Ø This is a reasonably senior role and therefore it is essential to have a minimum of 5 years experience within one of these sectors in relation the oil and gas industry

Ø Preferably be educated to degree standard

Ø Must have spent at least 2 years working at a freight forwarder within the industry

Ø It is important to have a logistical focused way of thinking in order to overcome issues that arise

Ø It is important to have some form of prior managerial experience due to the leadership nature of this role

Languages: Must speak English fluently and be able to read and write the English language also

Location: The role will be located in Singapore, Asia; therefore it is essential that you have a visa to work in Singapore already as sponsorship is not possible in regards to this role unfortunately

Salary: Salary will be discussed on an individual basis; once selected to be put forward for interview
