Oil Trading Analyst recruitment
Oil Major now requires an experienced Commercial Trading Analyst to identify, analyse and recommend trading opportunities and deal structures in support of positions (physical/financial) for system requirements and trading. The position plays in integral role to business profitablity and growth
Working closely with the Traders you will provide short term fundamental market views to support trading recommendations. In addition you will support these trading recommendations by using fundamental models analysis. You will hae responsibility for identifying deal structures in support of positions for system requirements and trading.
You will need to have the following:
• A good understanding of relevant trading market and competitor data
• Strong knowledge and understanding of key aspects of international crude logistics , refinery economics, crude qualities and supply chain
• An understanding of system and market logistical parameters, business drivers, pricing and hedging instruments and economic models in support of trading profits
• Proven ability in leveraging technology to provide solutions, develop models and quantifying risks to support trading strategies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
