Leading online directory is looking for an outgoing, sales dynamo to help us reach our aggressive goals by selling ads, Websites, lead gen programs, email campaigns and more for the NYC area.
The ideal candidate MUST have an understanding of the web and online advertising, can work with a database and be creative in finding new leads, have a lot of energy, good customer service and listening skills. Candidates with start-up experience is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
· Sell current clients and potential prospects for advertising.
· Identify prospects within assigned territory through research and professional networking.
· Research and source new leads.
· Put together creative packages based on customer needs.
· Cold call and cold canvass to obtain appointments with prospects.
· Provide professional phone and in-person sales presentations.
· Close sales in line with Company volume and revenue expectations.
· Follow up with new clients prior to their renewal date to try and renew and/or convert to a higher sale.
· Generate referrals for new business development.
· Provide timely results reporting to management
· Provide customer service for your accounts on a regular basis.
