The position would be to join at VP – Director level, helping to develop both the product and geographical scope of the desk working alongside an expanding sale steam covering institutional and corporate clients. With an excellent presence in the Asian markets already, the firm is now seeking to broaden their market share in the mainland China market.
Responsibilities for Onshore Credit Bond Trader – Shanghai
• Trading on a flow and proprietary basis
• Trading Onshore bonds (CNY)
• Trading across the Chinese markets
• Helping to develop the product and geographical coverage of the desk.
Skills / Attributes for Onshore Credit Bond Trader – Shanghai
• Strong knowledge of onshore credit products
• Excellent knowledge of the credit markets
• Proven profitable trading history
• Based in, or prepared to relocate to Shanghai.
