The Professional Recruiting Team forms a centralised recruitment function responsible for recruitment services across UBS. The Recruiting Team is responsible for ensuring the correct recruitment strategies are in place to meet the Bank’s hiring needs in a proactive manner.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the UBS centralised Professional Recruiting Team through Hays Corporate Accounts for a highly skilled Recruiter.
As the successful candidate, you as a Recruiter will be responsible for working with the on-site Direct Resourcing team and a PSL of agencies to deliver a high quality and efficient recruitment service to the business.
Working in a busy in-house Recruitment office, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely and establishing relationships with the business to promote direct sourcing capability
- Partnering with HR and Direct Recruiters to plan recruitment drives and campaigns
- Short listing appropriate candidates and facilitating the line manager to select candidates for interview
- Ensuring the recruitment process is managed in accordance with current legislation
- Supporting the Lead Recruiter to deliver results into the business
- Working with SDM to manage and review the preferred supplier list and to ensure all suppliers have the appropriate contracts in place
- Logging, tracking and advertising vacancies on Brassring (internal recruitment tool)
- The management and screening of internal, referral and direct candidates
- Organising and tracking interviews on Brassring
- Facilitating candidate testing
- Conducting final, competency based HR interviews and providing feedback to the hiring manager
- Advising and agreeing offer terms with hiring managers and HR BP’s
- Providing redeployment services for potentially redundant candidates
As the ideal candidate you have:
- A proven track record within an agency/search firm or as part of an in-house recruitment function
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- A strong ability to establish new and credible relationships with key stakeholders of varying levels
- An awareness of current HR and employment legislation
- Extensive HR / competency based interviewing skills
