Engineering Operating Engineers In this Harbor City position you may be required to travel to medical office buildings on occasion to operate, maintain, and repair building equipment, in addition to performing other duties as assigned. We currently have a full-time day position available with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. This position requires three to five years' experience in building plant operations and maintenance, as well as an associate of arts degree in Engineering or technical disciplines in Plant Operations, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or equivalent. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of equipment, controls, and building automation maintenance and be able to read and interpret blue prints, schematic drawings, and technical manuals. You must possess an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Refrigeration License, 608 (or must be obtained within six [6] months of hire), (LA City) Unlimited Stationary Engineers' License or comparable license issued by legally constituted municipality in which a facility is located, and a valid California Driver's license. The ability to troubleshoot building automation systems, refrigeration, A/C, and electrical control circuit is preferred.
