Operational Monitoring Manager recruitment
Specific tasks will include:
• Performing operational monitoring procedures on external third party service providers and sub-investment managers, and internal shared service functions
• Monitoring performance of key controls
• Maintaining documentation on monitoring activities
• Conducting root cause analysis when exceptions found
• Managing follow-up activities
• Identifying control improvements
• Deputising for the Head of Operational Monitoring as required.
Requirements
• University degree and investment qualification(s) essential
• Excellent numerical ability and analytical skills
• Knowledge of all major asset classes
• Knowledge of different pooled and segregated investment structures
• Knowledge of controls and monitoring / verification techniques
• Working in an asset management business or custodian business (or an allied industry)
• Previous experience in a compliance, audit or monitoring role is highly desirable
