This prestigious private bank provides expert wealth management services to a global client base.
The purpose of this role is to oversee operational risk for the Hong Kong branch by setting policy, defining work practices and ensuring frontline employees are working within the risk and compliance frameworks.
Reporting to the Head of Operations Risk and liaising closely with risk counterparties you will provide second line of defence reviews on high priority areas such as reviewing processes and procedures against internal policies and best practice controls. You will also summarise key findings and recommend operational improvements to senior management.
Professionally qualified you will have a minimum of 5 years relevant banking experience having gained exposure in dealing with Front Office, Operations, Finance, Compliance and Risk. Risk experience from a private banking environment will be highly regarded. Audit training in big 4 will also be well regarded.
