Our client is a leading global private bank with a well-established presence in the region. It is looking to recruit a dynamic individual as the Head of Operational Risk Management, Singapore.
Reporting to Singapore Head of ORM, you will be responsible for the implementation of the operational risk framework of the Bank, including performing internal control checks, managing of operational risk issues and ensuring appropriate risk escalations and reporting. You will ensure proper internal controls including performing internal control reviews, assessing, reporting and resolving of the issues noted, and enhancing controls as required by regulatory requirements and/or business development. You will manage Operational Incidents including ensuring correct handling and reporting of incidents, investigating operational events, assessing and following up of risk mitigating measures. You will prepare risk reports and presentations for local management committees and document proper policies and procedures manuals for Operational Risk.
You will have at least 5 – 8 years of experience in the banking industry, ideally including Private Banking. Relevant experience in Operational Risk Management and / or Internal Audit in Private Banking is highly desired. With strong analytical and communication skills, you are a self-starter, a team player, flexible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
