The Futures Division has been an active participant in the futures markets in Australia for over 15 years, maintaining a presence as a leading clearing and execution member of the Sydney Futures Exchange. It has an established client base comprising many of Australia's leading fund managers, government and public enterprises and international bank, and provides opportunities for clients to benefit from movements within futures and options commodity markets as well as offering protection for existing exposures.
The Division is experiencing continued growth from business that is being channelled through its overseas exchange memberships and the development of niche opportunities in these overseas markets, together with the broadening of its client base. As a result an opportunity in Futures Clearing is now available and will support the operations of the Futures Clearing business.
The Futures Control team works closely with other areas within the Futures Clearing business, wider divisions within Macquarie and with external organizations so a natural ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels is essential.
