The team lead will oversee the team involved in the planning and implementation of an integrated risk approach across the firm, which will include credit, market and operational risk, covering all the bank's branches and subsidiaries in Asia (ex Japan).
Key responsibilitiesfor the team includes:
- Coordinate in the preparation of the committee presentation for Asian Regional Risk Committee.
- Analyse all risk factors in the region, ensuring that the periodic and exceptional reporting is adequate, concise and meaningful to the target audience.
- Co-work with other infrastructure teams to enhance the risk management framework of the Asian branches.
- Oversee the new regulations, audit, business continuity management, new products risk assessment, information security and outsourcing issues.
- Assist in overseeing the execution of the Bank's Operational Risk Management Framework.
- Maintain close working relationships with key functional sections in the bank.
Candidates will have between 5 and 9 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, preferably in Singapore covering the Asian region. Good technical and functional knowledge of the external regulations, policies and developments for the Asian regional risk management and its impact on the bank is essential. The ability to facilitate smooth communications between Singapore and other Asian Branches is key. Candidates who can speak Mandarin will have an added advantage.
