Operational Risk Manager – Asset Manager recruitment
THE COMPANY:
Our client is an international asset manager with a diverse asset base. They work on behalf of both institutional and individual clients.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessment of regional risks and risk management including evaluation of risk/reward trade-offs. This will include relationship management of relevant business units as well as global risk management team colleagues.
- Assist the Head of Risk with the implementation of risk management related policies and programmes within the region. Execution of operational risk management programme within the region.
- Carry out ad hoc risk reviews based on requests by management and provide proactive risk advice to the business.
- Participation in Business Intake or New Product approval processes within the region.
- Assist the Head of Risk in the timely production of various internal risk governance reports on key risks that exist within the region. Participate in the regional risk management committee reporting process.
- Ongoing administration of the Event Analysis Group, including maintenance of documentation relating to meetings and the collation, recording and reporting of events data in accordance with regional and global procedures.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Asset Management operational risk experience
- Experience of developing and implementing operational risk framework.
- Degree Level education
