Operational Risk Manager – ICAAP recruitment
?Liaising with Department Heads and monitoring compliance with six monthly and annual risk review requirements under the Risk Framework.
?To review results of departments’ and offices’ six monthly and annual risk reviews.
?To assist with drafting of operational risk reports to the Operations Committee and the Audit Committee on a quarterly basis and annually to the Board.
?Assisting with implementation of best practice in operational risk management in all the group’s business areas.
?Assisting business areas in identifying, assessing and monitoring Key Risk Indicators.
?Responding to ad hoc risk management queries from departments.
?To monitor the raw and residual risk scores within the risk registers and, in conjunction with the Operational Risk Director and Group Finance Director, agree which risks should migrate to the Fundamental Risk register.
?Assist with six monthly capital adequacy reports and annual ICAAP to the Board.
? Preparation of monthly reports on capital adequacy of ICAAP group and relevant regulated individual companies for IPRC.
Experience Required:
•Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
•Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels around the group.
•Ability to lead teams from different backgrounds in achieving a common goal.
•Good working knowledge of operational risk issues and risk framework within a financial services firm.
•Understanding of regulatory framework and link between risk and capital requirements; knowledge of FSA reporting requirements.
•Good working knowledge of Excel (financial modelling skills)
