Operations Accountant

Mid sized Financial Services firm is looking for a numerically minded candidate to bridge Finance and Operations. This dual function role is a new position designed to assist in the company's impressive growth over the last five years and will play a pivotal role. The business employs over 200 in the UK people and is going from strength to strength with entry into new strategic markets firmly in their sights. The successful candidate will manage the Group's provision of reporting to third parties, in the following areas:

- Creation of month end reporting
- Approval of cash remittance to clients
- Management of weekly / monthly administration and reporting
- Reconciliation of cash collection accounts
- Reconciliation of cash movements to clients
- Responsibility for provision of client and contract specific information requirements
- Provide internal reporting based on cash collections

To be considered for this exciting position, you must have a demonstrable track record in Client Reporting and comfortable in working with large volumes of data. You will have a keen eye for detail and posses strong communication skills. Internally you will be working very closely with Senior Management and externally you will be facing off to various clients, so stakeholder management is key. You must be well versed in Excel (Pivot tables, Macro's, What ifs…). Our client is open on qualification and background, however you must have previous experience within the areas mentioned above.
