Operations Business Manager recruitment

The Firm: A highly reputable firm with a big focus on Operations in Asia, looking to develop a strong Management team in key, strong revenue stream areas. This opportunity is a chance to be part of a very motivational and successful management team.

The Role: The Business Manager will cover regional strategic initiative, covering all aspects of Operations. This role will have other regional products oversight and also assist the current Global Head of Ops implement costs governance and control process.

The key areas:
Financial Management - Costs analysis explanation, monthly review with product heads, manage budget transfer, accruals invoices management.
Headcount Management - Variance analysis explanation, headcount tracker, track open positions and joiners/leavers.
Planning Forecasting - Ensure accuracy of headcount in the plan, lab or rates, query costs decisions and ensuring that the regional budget is correct.
Front Office Relationship Management - Relationship management with front office business managers, manage cost allocations, analysis and explanation, conduct periodic review and support ad-hoc queries.
Service Provider Management - Ensuring incoming costs are in line with service provided, relationship management with service providers, working with local and regional Finance to resolve financial issues.
Business Planning - Ensuring Ops business plan is in line with the business (front office), assist product/regional head to formulate business plan, track the progression of business plan.
Strategic and Tactical Implementation - Implementation of strategic and tactical plans from headcount, costs and business management perspective.
Relationship management with Service Centres - Managing service centre on day-to-day activities, ad-hoc queries and investigation.

You: Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong organisational and data analysis abilities, Excel and PowerPoint expertise and confidence to interact with all levels of the organisation. Have a strong and organised work ethic, with the ability to influence and control senior stakeholders. Experience in previous business management, business consulting, business analysis or business finance roles is preferred
