Operations & Customer Performance Improvement Opportunities recruitment

Ernst Young is currently expanding our Financial Services Performance Improvement practice and as a result, we are seeking Executive level individuals. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your consulting career and further develop your financial services industry knowledge.

If you have a developed grounding in one or more of the following; retail banking, wholesale banking and capital markets, wealth management, insurance or asset management we would encourage you to consider these excellent opportunities.

Your responsibilities as an Operations Customer Performance Improvement Consultant will include:

- Working with our large financial services clients across various sectors advising around operations and technology improvements

- Working specifically on one or more of the following competencies:

*Operating model design including target operating, business operating and, locational model, functional or application architecture, sourcing models, on/off-shoring and in/out-sourcing
*Process improvement, including business process re-engineering (BPR) and transformation, lean and six sigma, workflow, process control review, mapping flow definition and design
*Business definition including, functions, use case, system/package and business analysis
*Vendor selection roadmap design including, project/programme planning, estimation and prioritisation.

Qualifications/skills you'll need as an Operations Customer Performance Improvement Consultant:

- Change management and transformation experience from strategy/inception through to delivery

- Significant experience in Operations Customer Performance Improvement, ideally been through
a graduate scheme or structured development programme with a recognised financial services
provider or consulting firm

- Motivation in building and developing a career in advisory and potential to develop strong client relationships, market networks and industry specialism

- Ability to understand complex problems and develop these into a workable solution to deliver against project objectives and deadlines

- Flexibility to travel to, and work in, other locations is essential.

You'll need to be an active team player who supports and shares relevant knowledge with colleagues to work towards a high level of client delivery. In addition, you'll need to work autonomously, be a self-starter and be flexible with change.
