Operations Manager
The main purpose of this role is to manage the operational performance of the business to ensure income is expanded, efficiencies are developed and exploited, expenditure is contained and budgeted profit is achieved.
Duties Include:
- Regularly review operational requirements structure.
- Propose and implement change as appropriate to maximise profit.
- Support the budgetary process and delivery of MI to drive manage the business
- Govern the use of Acturis to ensure efficient processes, data integrity and best of breed client documentation.
- Be conversant and compliant with all Coleman procedural requirements and internal control standards.
- Ensure adherence to Regulatory requirements in all areas, achieving these in the most efficient manner.
- Lead and direct the Operations team.
- Ensure staff are adequately trained to competently fulfil their duties.
- Manage the selection, development, performance and reward of direct reports.
- Ensure financial and operational risks to the business are identified, quantified and mitigated.
- At all times ensure the fair treatment of Customers is made the priority and, in respect of all business activities undertaken, that the principles of

It is essential l that you have experience of working within general insurer or broker environments and are capable to managing the operations of a medium sized business.
