Operations Manager
About the role:
We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our Corporate Operations group and have end to end responsibility across a broad applications and infrastructure environment. You will have end to end responsibility of application resources as well as working closely with project teams to help deliver projects into BAU. This role will also focus on the process improvement around the core ITIL processes. In addition you will establish new service delivery goals and focus on continuous improvement
Key responsibilities:
- Management of IT operational resources across a broad range of projects
- Ownership of the key ITIL processes
- Deliver increased production stability in particular around downtime on unscheduled outages
- Bridge the gap between Technology and the Business and understand key requirements
About you:
To be successful in this role as an Operations Manager you will be degree qualified and have proven applications operations management experience, ideally within financial services. You will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills with a key focus on collaboration as well as having proven track record in managing a team to deliver outstanding levels of support in line with the core ITIL Processes. In addition you will possess the following skills and experience
- Excellent Negotiation, Communication and Relationship Building Skills
- Ability to manage concurrent projects
- Ability to lead a team, across multiple locations to ensure one clear vision of delivery
- Problem Solving attitude and have the confidence to challenge approaches and decisions where necessary
