Job Description
- To assist HOD to project manage the several initiatives that are ongoing pertaining to setting up the Ops processes, controls, dealing desk, funds launches, mandates servicing and ensuring all projects run smoothly and efficiently
- To set up all fixed deposit and derivatives trading accounts with FIs/ brokers and clearers. This includes working with internal/ external lawyers and brokers on ISDA CSA agreements
- To work on FII and FINI applications where necessary
- Provide good middle office work functions between Clients and Brokers/ Custodians/ Fund
- Administrator/ Client Service Managers/Fund Managers
- To provide backup resource on daily processing of Aviva Sin HK mandates re work like cash, position holdings reconciliations, exceptional management items, collateral management and derivatives’ operational aspects
- Liaise with Trustee, Transfer Agent, Valuation Agent and Custodian on funds related matters
- To work with the Custodian on account openings
- Put up manuals to ensure workflows are properly documented in Operating Memorandums
- To help out in the annual audit of Funds by external auditor or local regulators
The right candidate should have:
- Good knowledge of both Middle Office Institutional Mandates Servicing as well as UT products (including MMF) and Collective Investment Schemes preferred.
- Good investment operational business support experiences.
- Good derivatives products’ knowledge in Futures, Options, Equity Swaps, Variance Swaps, FX, Credit Default Swaps etc. (preferred)
- Good Collateral Management and Cash Management knowledge.
- Good understanding of Fund management’s rules and regulations. (Advantageous).
- A good team player who demonstrates Initiative
- Good problem solving skillset and ability to think out of box

- Positive mindset
